Echo Park Lake

Looking for a quick day fun that doesn’t require much prepping …well, this place does exactly that.

Boating at Echo Park Lake is the way to go. It is a fun activity for adults, kids, families or couples, or as friends.

These Swan Paddle Boats are a great way to chill and relax. You have to reserve them online as they do get filled up quickly.

The boats are $11/hourly for adults and $6/hourly for children up to 17years old. They also have boats starting from sunset till late night which light up!

We definitely enjoyed ourselves a lot as a family since we got to spend time together and have some fun.

There are some great vegan restaurants you can check out after you are tired from all the paddling.

1. Sage – They have really great options from burgers to bowls to tacos to buffalo cauliflower wings and more. It is a great stop since it fulfills everyone’s tastes buds.

2. Donut Friend – This is a great stop if you are craving something sweet enough to keep you going. All their donuts in the shop are completely vegan! They have a good variety from cream brule to green tea to regular sprinkle donuts and ice cream also!

3. Little Pine – This is a very hip, relaxed vegan bistro that has a very chill easy vibe to it. They have salads to burgers to small bites and to their most popular lime cheesecake.

4. My Vegan Gold – This is also another great option as they have a great variety from Asian to Thai to American cuisine to bowls to pasta to Mexican tacos.
