Pinata Heart Smash Cake

I am not a baker nor that close to being one, but I thought why not attempt a pinata heart smash cake and do something creative. It is way easier than it looks for sure so if I can make it so can you!

Steps:

1. Melt any chocolate that you like. I melted Ghiradelli milk chocolate chips. You can use whole chocolate bars or chocolate chips. You can melt it in microwave or stovetop. I like to add some unsweetened butter to give it that creamy taste and a little shine to the chocolate.

2. Once the chocolate is completely melted and has a smooth texture, pour the chocolate into the mold. Slowly, spread the chocolate so that the whole mold is covered. The mold is available on Amazon.

3. You can put it in the fridge to harden or to speed it up, you can put it in the freezer. Check after 10 minutes, if it is hard.

4. Once it is hard, you can repeat step 2 to create a thicker layer. Again put it in the freezer and this time make sure it is the chocolate is completely hard and dry.

5. The main tricky part is to take the chocolate out without breaking it. So, crack the corners first, then slowly start pressing against the mold till the chocolate heart starts coming out.

There you go. Now, decorate it and enjoy!
