Mom You Are The Sun

Gush of emotions are pouring in me as I see my baby being born. The excitement of nine months, the waiting, the happiness, the exhaustion of being in labor and hormones flying high in the air while tears of joy are flowing down the cheeks.

To put these moments in words are impossible because of all the different emotions running around like a roller coaster in me. However, I can say that the moment of becoming a mother, the moment of holding my tiny child in my hands were out of this world. The day I become a mom will be a day I would not trade anything for. I am sure most moms agree that though motherhood is tough, exhausting, tiring yet we would not like to give it up for anything in this world.

To celebrate all the beautiful moms out there, I thought why not have my son write something about moms from his point of view. I had no influence in what he wrote. I just told him if he could write anything on moms for my blogs. So, there you go:

MOMS                 

Mom you are the sun.

You keep on lighting my way.

You may get mad like the sun grows dark.

You care for us a lot.

When you are the sun I am the earth that you give sunlight to.

While dad and mom are the Moon and Sun, I am the Earth.

Each of you care for us like there are many planets and the sun cares for them by giving light.

You give all you’re children love, you do that cause you care about us all.

You are awesome.

You have a thing that shines a bright hole in my heart.

On this Mothers Day, just remember whether you are a single mom, the perfectionist mom, the anxious mom, the carefree mom or just a mom – you are a superhero in the eyes of your kids! Therefore, keep doing what you doing because you know what is right for them and kids also know that their superhero is always right!
